  • Dockworks is aware of the changes of tides over the years and builds the height of the dock so it will stay above water during a spring tide

FAQs

How do I obtain a permit?

Most jobs require a permit through the DNR, core of engineers, and Chatham county. Our permit coordinator will facilitate in organizing all of the paperwork, drawings, and surveying needed to obtain the permit. We will also help to design your dock keeping inside the rules and regulations of these permits.

Do we carry company insurance?

We carry liability, workman’s compensation and USL&H

How do we get behind on our projected arrival dates?

We try very hard to keep on schedule, but working in the outdoors comes with complications. All jobs are weather and tide dependent. We also operate and manage large equipment that we have to service regularly. Additionally there are instances where there is an “emergency” with another client’s dock, although this is rare.

How do I get a quote?
